Sources & methodology

This site exists because launch-week guide sites are mostly templates: domains registered within days of release, filled with plausible-sounding content nobody verified. For Path of Idle the pattern is extreme — several “wikis” list console commands and mods that do not exist, and none has published a single verified runeword recipe. One even states its own list is unreliable. Our rule is the opposite: every fact carries a confidence label, and gaps are published as gaps.

The four levels

• official — straight from the developer: official patch notes, the store page, or in-game text shown in a screenshot.
• corroborated — at least two independent sources agree (Steam discussions, community guides, videos).
• community — a single credited source; linked where it appears.
• unconfirmed — we don’t know yet, and we say so.

What we will never do

• Publish a rune combination we haven’t verified.
• Fill a gap with generated text and present it as data.
• Leave a correction unshipped once a screenshot disproves a row.
